More about ZMESKAL Kim:
She began praticing gymnastics in 1982. Her favorite event was the floor exercises.
In 1990 she was US national champion, won the American Cup and the Swiss Cup, with Lance Ringnald. In 1990, when she was 14 years old, she became the youngest US National champion in history. Named in 1991 as SportsWoman of the Year by the US Olympic Committee, she has scored eight 10!

Zmeskal is a 1994 high school graduate and does have future plans of attending Oklahoma University with her best friend Betty Okino. At this time, Zmeskal's enrollment is on hold until she finishes competitive gymnastics. Once she is done competing, Zmeskal has no plans of ever leaving the sport. She feels that gymnastics has given her so many things and done so much for her that she could never leave. She wants to give back to the sport and will always stay actively involved!
