After a 2003 year plagued with injuries, Cuchera came back strong in 2004 by winning a team and a horizonzal bronze medal at the European Championships in Ljubljana. He ranked 6th at the P. FIG - July 04 Français: Yann est un généraliste qui tend à se spécialiser aux barres parallèles où il fut finaliste (6e) aux JO de Sydney en 2000 puis s'y est distingué aux Championnats d'Europe en 2004 avec du bronze. Fort d'un esprit d'équipe précieux, il sait que la gymnastique demande une grande expérience. Outre les barres parallèles, ses autres agrès de prédilection sont la barre fixe et le cheval d'arçons. Blessé en 2003, il est revenu au plus haut niveau pour participer aux Jeux Olympiques d'Athènes en 2004, grâce notamment à son sérieux, son perfectionnisme et un fort esprit de compétition.
