Alicia Sacramone qualified for the World Cup Final as a wild card after placing first on vault at the Pacific Alliance and second at the World Cup in Ghent. She went on to win the vault gold medal at the World Cup Final ahead of the rigning Olympic gold and bronze medalists. Alicia went on to become the U.S. National Champion on vault and floor exercise in 2005. she was also named Usa Gymanstics'Sportswoman of the Year in 2005. Alicia Sacramone is the daughter of Fred, an orthodontist, and Gail, a salon owner. She has one older brother named Jonathan. Alicia hopes to domeday study internationa relations. She would like to go to college and pursue a carreer in business and / or fashion design. She says her parents are her role models because they have taught her that hard work brings rewards.
