| His brother Blaise was a two time Australian champion (1986 and 1988) and his father was a 1960 Olympian for France. Both his parents are French and settled in Australia in 1970. Silver medallist at the 2001 World Championships in Ghent. 2002 Commonwealth Champion on High Bar. Very strong competitor on Horizontal Bar, including a silver medal at the 2002 FIG World Cup Final in Stuttgart. His best being in Stuttgart 2003 where he won the gold medal.
Rizzo's personal coach is Valery Vatkin (Belarussian native and one of the former coaches of the great Ivan Ivankov). He trains at the famous Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. Hobbies: Playing the guitar. FIG Wild Cards to qualify for the Athens 2004 Olympics. vam - 12.2004 |
