| More about ZHANG Nan: |
She is the first Chinese female gymnast to win all-around medals (Bronze) both at World and Olympic levels (2003 Anaheim and 2004 Athens respectively). Her greatest weapon is her exquisite style. Little known in Europe until 2002 she appeared on the international stage with a sequence of successes: All-Around winner in the 2002 Asian Games in Pusan (South Korea), Gold medal on Floor and Silver on Beam at the 2003 Glasgow Grand Prix, Silver medal on Floor at the 2002 World Cup Final in Stuttgart. 2004 Glasgow Grand Prix and World Cup: 6th Floor, 7th Beam. Ghent World Cup - 5th Floor.
She is a very strong all-arounder, whose greatest "weapon" in gymnastics is her exquisite style of performance. Nan's leaps on the Beam are unique by form, beauty and preciseness.
Little known in Europe until 2002, she stormed into the international stage with a sequence of successes.
